Crushing on Watermelon!


Watermelon is truly summer's super fruit and thirst quencher! Packed with skin beautifying, collagen boosting vitamin C and extremely hydrating, it's also perfect as a slushy, juice, or smoothie. I like to whiz the whole half-frozen fruit into a slushy like smoothie. Here's my easy peasy recipe:

For 2 glasses

  • 8 cups half-frozen watermelon chunks
  • small handful of mint leaves
  • 1 - 2 limes, juiced
  • extra ice as needed or desired
  • 1/4 teaspoon of grated fresh ginger root (optional)

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Drink up!
